  • Client: LGBTQ+ arts festival celebrating queer art and culture in Birmingham
  • Brief: redesign and build an online platform to host the festival's events, yearly ongoing events, and provide a platform for queer art.
  • Biggest challenge: managing multiple events calendars and coming up with an engaging way to display the queer art in the vault section.
  • Tools used: Adobe XD, WordPress, Elementor, Modern Events Calendar, The Grid
  • Features: events calendar for the festival, separate events calendars for ongoing events and previous festival editions, art vault to showcase queer art.
  • Proudest achievement: getting all the events into the right calendars.

Charbonnel et Walker.

  • Client: luxury chocolatier specialising in truffles.
  • Brief: design a corporate brochure to showcase the company's offerings to potential clients.
  • Biggest challenge: coming up with a new look for the company.
  • Tools used: InDesign
  • Features: large, classic font headings paired with a more contemporary paragraph font and some tasty imagery.
  • Proudest achievement: this was the first piece of work done for Charbonnel and was the start of a now 6 year relationship.

  • Client: start-up recruitment agency specialising in SEND teachers and health care professionals.
  • Brief: design and build an online informational website which also allowed candidates to search and apply for jobs. The site needed to split into two distinct sections - SEND Education and Health Care.
  • Biggest challenge: finding a cost effective but fit-for-purpose job management plugin.
  • Tools used: Adobe XD, WordPress, Elementor, WP Job Openings.
  • Features: online jobs board where candidates can filter by categories and apply for jobs directly through the site, forms for candidates and organisations to submit CVs and jobs, two subsites with their own navigation.
  • Proudest achievement: creating a job board that matched the website style which required several pieces of custom css to be written.
