About

RaggedDesign.

Meet Rachel.

Hi! I founded RaggedDesign back in 2007, when websites weren’t as pretty as they are now. You remember… My aim at the time was to provide young musicians with affordable and good-looking websites to kickstart their careers. Unfortunately a real job got in the way, so RaggedDesign was parked for nearly 10 years.

Fast forward to 2014 and a decision to leave the aforementioned real job meant RaggedDesign was up and running again. The internet had moved on since 2007, with design and user experience at the top of the priority list. I’d been keeping up with design trends and my skills over the years so I ventured into the world of design.

Being self-taught I love learning new things and taking on new challenges, so you’ll rarely find me saying I can’t do something! I’m keen to expand my knowledge and broaden the services I can offer to my clients, and regularly take courses either online or in person.

Design and user experience is at the heart of what RaggedDesign is all about, and as an Elementor Expert I’m able to provide you with a site that is easy to edit should you wish to take on that task.  I’m also increasingly steering the majority of my work towards socially conscious organisations. So if you’re interested in discussing a project drop me a line!
